I think the concept is great, but I think the execution leaves me wanting. Kids today, unfortunately, are pretty saavy consumers of this kind of stuff. I worry that they will gloss over it.

As a sports coach, I know the value of teaching good fundamentals as early as possible. People love to talk about innate ability (genetics) but so much more lies within proper training at the early ages.

While it may be cheesy, thanks for posting! We have just started an 'allowance' for my 6-year old, and have been looking for a way for him to understand the power of money. We plan to have him split his allowance to 3 buckets: saving, spending and charity. We'll see how it goes...

Whatever it takes! I believe few things, outside of faith, impact one's life like personal finance and knowledge about health and nutrition. Yet, it's probably the two things that are rarely taught in schools or at home.
