This is insane. All this does is further demotivate people to go out and look for work. Way too many people don't start looking seriously until their benefits are close to running out. The longer the benefit period, the longer they sit home.

I blasted hope not. Seriously people, quit extending the government dole, and actually give them a reason to find a freaking job. The jobs are out there, but people aren't trying to get them because they can do fine on the unemployment checks.
