Have you seen this common sense, but somewhat simplified video about the US economy. Worth a look, perhaps useful for teachers and parents but also civic participators.
Story of Broke
About a year ago this person made a widely distributed video called 'Story of Stuff' regarding the consumption issues in modern society (everything from the raw materials to the disposal). It is on the above website (across the top under 'movies'). I am in the solid waste business and though some of the information is not as clear as shown, the video basically is truthful. Therefore I tend to be supportive of the subject video.
