Burglar Stopped By Chimney
A Kings Beach man was arrested after officials extracted him from a chimney where he was stuck for two hours.
Jose Francisco Martinez, 19, of Kings Beach, was arrested on suspicion of residential burglary when a resident in the 8500 block of Trout Street in Kings Beach reported hearing screams coming from a neighbor's house. "The owners were away on vacation," said Lt. John Addoms of the Placer County Sheriff's Department. "Investigators found a man stuck halfway down the chimney." Officials were forced to dismantle much of the chimney to free Martinez, causing approximately $20,000 in damages... Entire Story Here
