Please also note that he just temporarily left his house.
He never sold, or gave away his possessions. Still has a nice home. And his 'ministry' didn't give away their millions of assets either.
So maybe they didn't really believe this junk they were preaching. They just wanted the press (IMO).
People like this give the rest of us Christians a bad name.
I believe Jesus will literally come back one day - and I also believe Him when He said, "no man knows the day or the hour" (Matt 24:36) and again when he said "For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be" (Matt 24:27)
ie. - when he comes back, you'll know it. It won't be some vauge 'spiritual' rapture. It will be real, and you'll know it when it happens. (but not until it happens)
