Library Hires Collection Agency For Overdue Books

The Knox County Public Library System is sending a message to patrons with overdue books and fees by hiring a private collection agency to help track down offenders — nicely... Knox County Library will hand over the accounts of 180 users whose materials are 45 days or more overdue, representing an estimated $10,000 to $15,000 worth of books, DVDs and audio materials, Claiborne said...
