I'm a fan of Food Network with Paula Deen and Ina Garten two of my favorites. I loved Emeril when he was on as well. Since I work all day I rarely see Paula anymore. I did catch one of her programs over the Thanksgiving holiday and I couldn't watch it for very long. It just seemed like the whole show was promoting what she sells. I understand the economics behind it, but I prefer it to be a more subtle message. I realize she's got to make "hay while the sun shines" but geeze. The celebrity chefs are a big sham. Its all capitalism and there is hardly any "culinary art" left in TV-cooking.
