I'll somewhat agree that it's a similar "corporate" set up but the difference might be that the gangs basically want you to come in young and stay forever whether that means death, prison, or some other horrendous ending. Mcdonalds really doesn't expect the majority of teenagers to hang around very long and the smart one's don't.
McDonald's also doesn't fill your head with the idea that if you flip enough burgers you can have the same "bling" as their corporate executives.
Kinda' unfair to single out McD's when other large corporations do the same thing. I'm not defending anyone but that's how buisness at that level works.
