Oil Hits Recod High

Crude oil futures rose to a record in New York and a 13-year high in London on concern among traders that gasoline supplies may run short during the U.S. summer travel season as demand increases.

The benchmark contract rose as high as $41.22 a barrel in after-hours trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange, beating the $41.15 high on Oct. 10, 1990, after Iraq invaded Kuwait.
