Default How much you earn (and how you compare to others)

Interesting visual of where your salary falls along the earnings line in the US

I had no idea dentists and astronomers make as much as they do.

Not to mention podiatrists!

Plus, I had no idea there were that many full time minimum wage workers. I always felt as if there were a lot of them in my city, but I thought we were just pretty skewed in that respect. Maybe not. Also there are so many security guards and office clerks who make such low wages.

It's kind of scary to think of how many are working for minimum wage and I bet most are working more than one job because they can't get full-time jobs or benefits of any kind.

I bet their income went up when teeth whitening, veneers, and other cosmetic procedures increased.

That is an interesting chart. Living in Silicon Valley, that chart would be skewed.

I have to admit, when I look at that chart, it seems I am way above average for my type of work. But in truth I am not above average in my city. My basic living expenses are a lot higher as well.
