LuxLiving: If when Social Security came to existence - they would separated it from the money the government uses - we would have been looking at a different story today. Maybe a lock box like Al Gore said.

A little bit off topic but I read a short article in Money Magazine where an economist, Teresa Ghilarducci, wants to retire 401k's in favor of a mandatory savings plan on top of Social Security.
