This is very interesting. With credit card, this would have been so easy to handle. Also I believe with a debit card, you are liable up to 500$ for a theft, fraud or unauthorized charges. In spite of this, apparently debit cards are becoming more popular in last few years and one-third of all point-of-sale transactions are done using debit cards.
