Man Collects $10,000 In Disability While Racing Motorcycles

A Juvenile Training School detention officer raced motorcycles in New Hampshire while collecting more than $10,000 in disability benefits from the state, investigators said Thursday.

Investigators said Mark W. Brown, 34, competed on the amateur racing circuit at the New Hampshire International Speedway and his racing season included six crashes.

Brown, of Windsor Locks, was charged with larceny and worker's compensation fraud. A message seeking comment was left at his home.

Between December 2003 and June 2004, Brown collected more than $10,000 in benefits because of two work-related injuries he reported, investigators said... Entire Story Here
