Default Too busy? Outsource your personal chores to India.

The second wave [of outsourcing]... will be the globalization of consumer services.... [Experts] foresee an array of potential services beyond tutoring and personal assistance like health and nutrition coaching, personal tax and legal advice, help with hobbies and cooking, learning new languages and skills and more. Such services, they say, will be offered for affordable monthly fees or piecework rates.

Oh, tutors!

When I saw the title, the first thing I thought was, "How in the world are they going to clean my room?"

Actually, I was a bit disappointed. I was hoping that the article explained how they have worked out a system of FedEx-ing trained Chimpanzees to your door, where they will attempt to do your housework, and then you ship them back after a week or so.

Oh, I remember that tidbit of tech news. But uh, I'll bet household chores aren't the only thing they're thinking about.... *cough*

Oh yeah. I went there.

You get what you pay for though. Was trying to get some websites redesigned, decided to go with an Indian designer, could not, no matter how hard I tried to get what I wanted, ended up canceling the project... I may have hit a bad one, just been unlucky, but I am not sure I will try it again after this experience.

That's a shame. I do redesign, but in all honesty, I think the best way is to go to a website like templatemonster.com, and pick out a template or 2 you like best. Then give it to a website developer. Basically, the way the website looks, is easily separated from the information contained in the website nowadays. I do this for about 1-2 folks a year for some extra cash (usually under $300).
