Default Free Financial Advice Today

If you have personal finance questions that you have been wanting to ask, today's your chance. Kiplinger's, as part of their Jump-Start Your Retirement Plan Days, in conjunction with the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) will be answering anybody's personal finance questions for free from 9 a.m. until 6 pm. eastern time on Friday, January 27 - call toll free 888-919-2345.

NAPFA members across the U.S. will be standing by to take your calls and answer your questions. NAPFA members are comprehensive, fee-only financial advisers. Normally, these planners charge clients $100 to $250 an hour. But on Jump-Start Days, you pay nothing -- not even for the phone call. Just dial 888-919-2345.

...Is my money invested properly? What kind of IRA is best, a traditional IRA or a Roth? How can I save for my retirement and my kids' college expenses at the same time? Can I count on social security? Should I buy an annuity? Is there any way to cut my taxes in retirement?

You know which financial problems are bugging you. Now's your chance to call the toll-free number and get solutions. To make the most of your call, pull together any relevant records. If you want to ask about your investment allocation, for example, you'll need to give the planner a quick overview of how your portfolio is invested.

This is a great opportunity to ask any of those personal finance questions you've been thinking about without spending a penny.
