Mesmerized Audience Misses Robbery
Mama Dip must be a mesmerizing speaker. The Southern cookbook author and restaurant owner, whose real name is Mildred Council, was speaking to about 100 fans Sunday afternoon at Quail Ridge Books & Music when a man gave a note to a cashier.
The note said: "This is a robbery ... Open the drawer, give me all your tens and twenties ... You're being watched ... Don't be a hero and don't (expletive) this up... Entire Story
