Are points earned for blog entries?

No, not now. When we originally started them (as journals in the beginning) they were part of the forums and they did earn points. When we switched over to the blog system (mainly for commenting reasons) there was no way to integrate them into the forums so they do not earn points. Sorry about that...

Putting together a blogging point system may be something to consider...will have to think about that.
