Default Upromise

Several years ago I signed up for upromise.com. It's basically free money for college. It cost nothing. At first it started out with just a few pennies here and a few pennies there. But, over time it's really added up. Check it out, it's free money for your kids college fund.

And, you are not required to put the money into their savings products. You can request a check to be sent to you. I recently rec'd a check for $200 from UPromise!

Also, I looked for promotion codes when opening a upromise acct. I don't know if these work, but you could try "FN3" in the promo code field during enrollment. Offer valid through 12/31/07.

Or "Chocolate3"

They are supposed to be worth $3 each - but you can only use 1 when signing up.
