Another idea is a DIY french pedicure: just swipe a slightly off white or white frost color across the tip and do a bigger section than you would think would look natural. Finish with clear nail polish and add a small flower on each big toe. Use the same off white/frost nail polish and make 5 small lines in a star shape, leaving a space in the center. Add 1 drop of another color (brighter colors like orange look great) in the center. Let it dry a bit before sealing it off with another clear coat. I did this a month ago, trimming my toe nails once and it has lasted!!

How do they hold up under regular household use? My concern is that water and windex used to break the adhesive down QUICK!

Any ideas?
Wear gloves!

Thanks god I don't have this problem. I have my trusty clipper since high school. The Japanese can make some bad ass tools.

I have been using glue on fingernails for years but the brands I have available are both splitting very easily and are becoming impractical to use. could you please recommend a brand and where i may purchase them on line as i live in australia.I do prefer the plain coloured nails (no art)and usually try to get a "berry" colour .hoping you can help, lynette
