Lightbulb Save More!!!

In Cooking Pasta, Noodle and the likes :

Turn Off the Heat!

It’s a wrong notion that pasta needs to boil until the second it’s removed from the stove. Absolutely wrong.

TO DO:
When adding pasta to boiling water, you must stir it until it reboils.
After one full minute of stirring and boiling, turn off the heat, and don’t even cover it.
Boiling water is roughly 212 degrees.
In the time it takes for the water to come down to the ambient temperature, it will already be cooked.
This will not only will you save energy, but you will reduce the risk of having the pasta stick to the bottom of the pot.

True, this one works! With Pasta and Potatoes - now I have not seen any difference in my electrical bill, but i am sure it will help a little in the long run.
