Default i bond

I'm a little dissapointed with treasurydirect. I bought my Jan I bond on Jan 30 and got issued a Feb 1 i bond. This is kind of cheap of them.

The 30th was a Saturday. I would think they only process transactions on business days, so your order would have gotten done on Monday, Feb. 1.

Chances are you aren't getting your bond if there is no way on God's green earth I will move these boxes for this company on a Saturday.

Yes, but they are government, you know, get paid the most for the littlist time spent actually working, this is a global thinking in government or anything to do with government. And this is treasurydirects policy, so... Next time, buy on a weekday and make sure you read their disclourses.
