Simple (but great) investing lessons from the past

There are plenty of good articles on active investing, but I felt that this one deserves mention. I do want to point out that the advice is easier said than done. Also, bonds isn't the only way to invest during peaks. However, I think most investors will ultimately do well if they take the basic advice to heart.
