Default Anyone else love ING direct?

I seriously do. I have saved so much by having my money directly deposited to it!

Yay!

No fees and no minimums, yes. Highest savings rates, no.

This is there in their site description.

"Highest savings rates" and "one of the highest savings rates" are 2 different things.

Yes, open your account first with the $25 bonus. Then "refer" the account to yourself for additional bonuses of $10+$25 each. (You will need $250 for each deposit. The $250 can be withdrawn after about 3 weeks I think it is.) You open the accounts as joint accounts... Your child is the primary, you are the secondary.

I have an account, but I really don't love them. Their customer service has been good the few times that I had to call them, but their interest rates aren't that competetive. Most of my cash is in my IGObanking account right now.

Love ING! I just opened a 12-month CD at 3.3% yesterday. I've earned a good deal through their $10 bonuses, too.

I have to say that I do love ING. While I know that their rates are usually a tad lower than other sites, the fact that I can have my checking and savings through them is great! So even the money sitting in my checking account is drawing great interest rates for a free checking account!

I love my ING accounts, too. In fact, I even influenced my church to open a business savings account for the savings. I know they can't transfer it back to their checking account quickly and that it's earning more interest than it was at our local bank.

I thought I read in the terms that the $25 bonus was limited to one per household?

If so, it's not enforced.

I have an ING account and love watching it grow.

People have more than one account to save for different things. I love that ING gives you that option.

ING's stock dividend is yielding 7.2% for me. That's in addition to the stock's value being up 16% since I bought it in Feb. I like ING just fine.

Okay, maybe a little off-topic.

I have 2 accounts with ING but we moved all the money to one account because we thought we would earn more interest if all the money was lumped together- since bigger sums earn more interest. Is this true or are we crazy?
