Default Program to track CD's and investments?

I've been using Quicken, but really don't like how it handles Certificate of Deposits (lumped in with regular savings.) I'd like something that can track due dates, better display interest rates, etc.
I've looked at Microsoft Money, but don't see many differences.
I'm sure there must be a better program--any ideas?

I would love to know about such a program! Let us hear about it here if you find one!

We have many CD's that are set to pop on a monthly basis but many have different interest rates and I'd love something that was easy to keep an eye on them all!

What about spreadsheets? It's versatile enough, albeit not without a little bit of elbow grease.

I agree --- We use our own spreadsheet to keep track of our entire portfolio, including CDs. While it took a bit of extra work to set it up (and I have to tweak it from time to time), I like that we can set it up to display in a way that makes the most sense to us.

I actually have 2 spreadsheets: Assets and Earnings; I'm sure I could combine the two if I wanted to.

Same here. I set up our spreadsheet years ago. It is easy to update when we add or drop investments. I have it integrated to update values easily by downloading our portfolio from AOL. Never saw the need for any specialized software.
