10% Special Bank Offers

Are there many 10% special bank offers out there? I think I remember one for kids and I sometimes see them for limited amount promotions on CDs. Are there enough out there to put about $10,000 away into them?

Here's the link for the 10% apy Kid's Savings account from Affinity Bank, although you only earn that on the first $500 per account. There are a number of widely available 6%+ cds out there, found mostly at credit unions. Depending on what your savings goals are, sometimes financial instituitons pay a higher rate on education savings accounts. Of course if you are interested in them, you should check out your state's 529 plan. Some states offer free scholarships just for participating.
