Thanks I needed that. I want to open a high interest account as soon as I sell my spec house. If you could put up links, I promise to write them all down and not keep asking for them. Thanks again, poundwise!!

Yes Poundwise thanks for all the links and the information on each bank. That took a lot of compiling and you did it expertly and neatly too!

Definitely a keeper. Will help with going to the banks individually to see if rates have changed. Again great job!!!

I didn't keep them in mind because of the stipulation that you have to have a checking account with them in order to get the savings rate. And, the EZ Checking that they offer has account maint fees unless you have a balance of $1500 or meet some other qualifications. However, it seems that if you have the 'package' of both the EZ Checking and the e-Savings, then you do not have any fees to worry about.

I wish more banks would let you use the phone or mail to open an account. I have no idea how to use a printer and mine has no paper or ink in it!

I was originally thinking GMAC, but HSBC is looking mighty enticing!

Great job on the list!

I know it's none of my business, but I'm curious how old you are. I'm going to be in Dalton, GA later this week. For a cold glass of lemonade, I would be happy to stop by and show you how to use your computer if you're anywhere in the vicinity. But, you'll have to buy the ink and paper. Unless you have a relatively new printer, you should probably expect a case of sticker shock when you purchase the ink. I hate to see anyone miss out on banking in the 21st century because they're afraid of their PC.

What a nice thing to do. My last job was in 1980 and we did not have a computer there. When I moved here, the only job I could get was a waitress job, so that is what I did for a living for a while. My husband has never used a computer either. He bought me one for christmas a year and a half ago and I know nothing about it. (I am over 60) But Dalton is too far away, I am up in the mountains in Blairsville, by the N.C. line. Thanks anyway!!
