Hmm, well, that is interesting though I would think now is the time to sell gold, not buy them.

Are we sure that this is the end for gold? I have heard that gold is going to rally again, past the $700.00 mark, Do you see $1000.00 in the near future? Do you think the turmoil in the middle east will cause the price of gold to rise?

My DH was thinking the same thing, that gold will rise because the markets are so unstable due to the mideast crisis. Any thoughts?

Anything's possible. I've heard some people predicting gold will go upwards of $1,500/oz. But for me personally, gold and other precious metals are just not intriguing investments.

On the question of gold it really depends what asset class we are comparing it to.

No I am not particularly fond of it now given the potential of an economic slowdown but I think it is a better long term store of value than the greenback.
