Finding my stock???

OK-about 6 or 7 years ago, i was a stockbroker assistant so I should KNOW this answer lol. But, 3 pregnancies later..welllll, mama brain is what I claim. My ex and I purchased a couple of shares of stock for our kids, and then we split, etc etc. How do I go about finding where my shares are now? I dont remember if we had an account with morgan stanley or if that was closed in the divorce. The shares we bought that I remember is Disney. I feel so irresponisble right now!!! Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Assuming you own/owned the stock directly (and not through a share purchasing plan such as Sharebuilder), Disney shareholder services should be able to track down your answer.

Thank you so much! I hadnt thought of that one! I called them today and found my 3 shares..not worth much, but at least now I can follow the steps to get it all lined up , etc. Thanks Sweeps!
