Default Short Selling

My last question for today. Does anyone here do short selling? If so, how do you set up an account and what type of fees are involved?

Default Re: Short Selling

Basically that someone else paid you $10 for a stock that you didnt buy into yet, then you buy it at $5 and give them their shares. Pocketting the rest.

Of course 10 for 5 is an exaduration, but you get the drift.

You have to set yourself up as the middle investor to do this, so you have to factor in any fees that you pay, and then whatever fees that you charge. Its easier to do if you manage accounts and you have supporters that request purchases that you have to be able to hold for long enough to cover.

And no, I dont do it. Its a little to unethical for me, although its legal to an extent.
