Default Name brand cereal for 25 -75 cents a box.

Check out the cereal at Dollar General. They sell name brand--Kelloggs, Post, General Mills and their own brand. The name brand is priced between $1.50 and $2 a box.

They also accept coupons.

Yesterday I got 6 boxes of name brand cereal and by using coupons I paid $1.25 for all 6 boxes--thats total, not $1 each. I came home with fruit loops, raisin brand, cheereos and bran flakes.

That makes it cheaper than Aldi's generic.

The cereals were not on sale either--that is the every day price. I plan on getting our cereal there from now on. Yes the boxes are a little smaller, but with the coupons in the paper every Sunday, I will just buy 2 boxes instead of one.

(I also got several deoderants and toothpaste. Toothpaste was on sale for 99 cents and I had 2 $1 off coupons).
