I will shop there on occassion for canned goods and spices, but it is out of the way to go there, so I don't make special trips.

My boyfriend and I just discovered Aldi's and we LOVE it. We get all of our canned items there. Also their frozen food and dairy selection is pretty good. We always bring in a tote to haul it all out.

Default Ordering ALDI Gift Certificates...

FYI...

I live in Colorado and wanted to purchase a few gift certificates for my mom who lives in Pennsylvania. Problem is that there are no Aldi or Trader Joe's stores in Colorado and no phone numbers.

Did some digging and found the phone number for Aldi's headquarters in IL:

ALDI Corporate
1200 N. Kirk Road, Batavia, IL 60510
Phone: 630-482-5244

You have to hit "0" and ask for Marcela Weaver. Since they (Aldi) don't take credit cards, you will have to send a check. Yeah, I know. What a PITA.

Hope that helps...

It is my mom's favorite place to shop, so wanted to get her something that she'd use...

I love Aldi, too bad they don't have a store in my city yet. Can't wait to have one here.

In Ireland I did most of my grocery shopping there - convenient location close to my work, good quality stuff, and most things much cheaper than the equivalent in other groceries. And unlike Lidl, way less "ooh, shiny" items that sidetrack me or hubby when doing the shopping (with the shopping list - and hey, sometimes it does contain such generic things as "fruit", "cheese", "noms", or "shiny").
I found it easy when the layout it always the same too - makes finding the items you need much easier, and the shopping list can be written so that the items can be picked in order.
