Default I've started getting my food here.

www.angelfoodministries.org

no paystubs needed . must buy the first box of food for 25.00 and then you can buy an extra box (Iusually get meat and chicken box) for 18.00
let me know how it works out for you.

That's great, thanks for posting about it, I may need it someday.

sparkysgirl - I've used them in the past and found for my family that we can do better with our grocery dollars at the scratch n' dent groceries that are around here.

we don't have any scratch n dent stores here. in fact our Giant Eagle just quit doubling coupons! 2 years ago I was able to feed a family of 4 (2 in diapers 1 on formula) for 750.00
those days are long gone!

I just picked up my first box this morning. I was pretty impressed with all of the products--everything looks to be good quality. I am hoping to use this for most of our meat for the month. That seems to be the most expensive part of our grocery budget.

I've looked at it in the past, can get better deals at grocery store if I pay attention. Likewise it's a lot of food that we just wouldn't eat in our household.

However, I know that it works really well with other families. For those that don't have Angel, googgle SHARE and you might find it in your area as well. No income requirements, some local chapters require (advise) that you volunteer some time each month.
