Default BJ Wholesale Club Rewards

By Morgan Ward

Having a regular membership to a wholesale club has several money saving advantages over shopping at a regular store, but BJ's Wholesale Club has taken these advantages one step further by creating their Rewards Membership. This membership status is open to both current members and brand new members of BJ's Wholesale Club.

With a BJ's Rewards Membership, you will not only save money on groceries, personal items, and household products, but you will also get a reward once a year -- depending on how much you have spent at the club in the previous 12-months. This is a "cash back" reward that you can use to buy items at BJ's. As a matter of fact, most of the things you already buy will likely qualify to be purchased with this incentive money. Since you are buying items from BJ's that you need and will have to buy anyway, having a Rewards Membership is like coming across free money.

So what do you get? First and foremost, with BJ's Rewards Membership you can earn 2% back on your purchases each year, earning up to $500. This incentive alone can add up to hundreds of dollars in savings for most families. Think about it this way: the average 5 person family probably spends a total of $500 a month on groceries, toothpaste, shaving accessories, shampoo and conditioner, soap, and lotion. This is $6,000 per year and is money that will be spent no matter where you decide to shop. Not only will you likely be able to buy more items from BJ's for $6,000 than from a regular store, but at the end of this 12-month period you will also receive $120 in FREE money.

Now if this same family has added expenses, such as an infant who requires formula and diapers, well ... you get the picture. This family will save a substantial amount of money from choosing BJ's for their shopping needs. One way or another you will have to spend this money, so why not get something back in return? If you are a person who likes to receive useful rewards in return for the money that you spend, without being required to purchase items that you would not buy otherwise, then this membership program is just what you have been looking for.

In addition to earning free money every year, BJ's Rewards Memberships also gives you:

  • a pair of glasses at 30% off the already discounted member price.

  • if you are in the market for a Brink's home security system, you can receive a $100 BJ's gift card with your purchase.

  • a Personal Vehicle Shopper from the BJ's Auto Program.

This last reward means that you will have your own personal shopper to scout out and negotiate the best money saving deals possible, specific to your situation and needs. You can be sure that you are getting the best rates possible when you have a dedicated, experienced personal shopper on your side -- which will add to your already substantial savings from being a member of BJ's Wholesale Club and taking advantage of their great discounts and incentive program.

If these incentives sound like a deal that will save you some extra money, then you should look into getting a BJ's Rewards Membership to begin saving right away. The longer you procrastinate, the more money you will waste shopping with a company who does not offer unique advantages nor put in the effort to reward you for your loyalty. So, stop by, check out what the club has to offer, and begin your journey of great savings.

The tip about the Brinks Alarm system is a good one to remember!
We got a brinks system but had no idea BJ"s offered any kind of deal.
Too bad b/c I would have loved a $100 GC.

Thanks Jeff! I'd been debating about upgrading for a while. Now that most of our grocery shopping is done there, it makes a lot of "cents"!
