Are You Rich?
After using the calculator in the last newsletter (<A HREF="http://globalrichlist.com/">The Global Rich List</A>) I find that I'm much better off than I thought I was. It kind of brings things into perspective.

Well try telling it to someone with out clean running water? They think we are rich for that alone

I have clean water to drink, a roof over my head, and food on the table 3 times a day. Compared to a lot of other people, I know I'm rich.
The problem is that we don't tend to compare things this way. We see what is around us, not what is far away. If one neighbor just bought a new SUV and our other neighbor is remodeling his kitchen, we compare ourselves to them. It's human nature. It's good to take a step back once in a while and try to see where we fit in globally.

I manage a homeless shelter and all day long I get guys comming in here, crying poverty... Now I'm not trying to sound mean.. but their worst day is still the best day for others in this world....... Sometimes I just have to tell these men to suck it up.... you have water, you can make a phone call, you can eat all day long........ TOO OFTEN we forget.

well I have always felt rich ( not because of money) but because I have always been loved for me I know that sound dorky but I have always been free to be me.

I'm not rich but I shop like I am....lol.
I have had cashiers in the supermarket say I must be rich as much as i shop and spend. I use tons of coupons It's a great feeling when you leave the store and haven't spend a dime.
