Question Movies

Hi I hope someone can answer this question for me. A friend told me about writting "research" on the back of a movie ticket to have the goverment pay for the movie. Anyone ever hear of this before?

I can tell you right now that if you tried to do something like that, the people at the movie theater would probably have a good laugh. I did go and do a check at snopes.com which did not turn up anything on this particular story. I did, however, email the site and I will post any information I receive back from them.

Yes. It is a "if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is" story. I think everyone would be doing it if it were true...word of something like that would get out very quickly.

Maybe if you were a college professor you could see a movie for "research" and get your university to pay for it...but not the government!
