Default $100 To Give

If you had $100 to spend on something and you had to give it to another person, what would you buy and who would you give it to? You can't give cash.

I would buy a breadmaker for my sister. She has been saving up for one so she can make her own bread and it would be a wonderful gift for her that would make her so happy!

I'd take my mom and sister out for a nice dinner. Anything where we could spend some time together and chat a little.

I would buy them 1 year of webhosting and a book to learn website design. I would also sell them an ebook on all the ways to make money on the internet.

This is a gift that given to the proper person would give them a lifetime of income potential.

Given to the wrong person and you will see it in the regift thread.

I would put 50 onto a prepaid grocery store card and 50 onto a gas card and give it to my son in college...he works double shifts all summer just so I dont have to pay for books or his traveling back and forth from home on breaks. He knows money is tight at home and he appreciates the fact I pay for part of his tution...

i definately know who i would give it to... my best friend is getting divorced right now and will be moving back here without a lot of resources with three young girls (all under 6)... i would probably use it at yard sales (she isn't picky about used items) for household items and clothing for the kids as they grow... or for groceries/grocery store card or something similar that she will need...or i would use it to help her pay for bartending academy if she decides to be a bartender until she can establish herself enough to go back to school/start her career of choice/etc...

I thought this was interesting so I asked GMC and JC
JC (2.5yo DD) says "pink things for gma"
GMC (4.5yoDS) says "a truck you can build for gpa"

I think I would get contacts for my neighbor (15yogirl)

I would take my kids to a toy store and let them buy whatever they want, toys, candy, or anything else as long as it's under $100.

Wow, you guys are so generous!

Now I feel stingy thinking about giving it to my bank clerk to put into my savings account.

You cannot give cash!

Actually what about $100 worth of premiums on the life insurance policy for your spouse, with you listed as the beneficiary.
