I just got back from New Jersey yesterday, and I was quite surprised that I pay more in gasoline here in the Chicago Suburbs than the fine folks in NJ. I filled up last thursday and paid 2.95 for premium.

Its a bmw 328i...it used to run really nice on 92 octane but the air pollution nazis got rid of it in CA. On 91 octane it knocks once in a while when its really hot out.

It'll still run on 87 because it has knock sensor and fuel/mixture and ignition time is controlled by the CPU so it'll retard the timing but then it feels like a gutless honda

paid $2.62 on my lunch hour in my local town. Went to Kansas City this afternoon for a dr appt, on while leaving the city, Saw some at $2.97. Glad I got it when I did.
