This site is great and it comes from all walks of life - rich and not so rich.
We can all teach each other on what works and what doesn't work. No one can feel like a loser here. We're all here to learn from each other.

This is my favorite site also. There are some really smart people on this forum. ( I am not one of them) We can really learn a lot.

I also find myself on this site more than any other. That says alot; i.m a huge sports fan! I like the idea that the spectrum of posters is broad, from people like me to finance pros. The help, ideas, comments are great, thank you all. ( Someday I hope to give advice, rather than just receive).

I LOVE the site and after 3 months had not had time to sift through ALL The info and resources - there is so much. I think it is great. A very nice community too.

I'm very impressed with this forum as well. I can't belive how friendly it stays (for the most part) especially with money being such a loaded topic!

If we're building a wish list, I have a request. With this bulletin board package there's a feature where you can mouse over the title of a thread and have a preview pop up that you can read. That would save a lot of time and help me get an idea of what I want to read without having to click in and out of the thread.

This feature doesn't seem to be enabled on these boards. Would it be possible to get?

Many thanks!

I agree with pearlieq, this is a very friendly site. I have only had a few negative comments the entire year I have been here. The local site i visit has several troublemakers!

I believe that feature is part of the newer version of the software. We've been delaying the update until Nate comes on full time because the point system we have won't automatically update with the newer version, so we are going to have to figure out a way to work around this. Request has been noted and passed onto Nate...

This one of two sites I frequent. The folks here are nice and folks have been so supportive and helpful! The people here have been supportive and helped me get to my goal of being debt free.

This place is the best!

I really love this community. I lurked on a weather website during hurricane season and they sniped at each other all the time. I love the sense of fun and helpfulness that exists here. Everyone has been so supportive of everyone else. Since I have no kids here anymore, I can leave the site on "home" and check in several times a day while I'm doing other things. I have never used the computer this much before!

I agree that this site has a great sense of community. This is one of two sites where that exists and I participate on a regular basis, the other one being BritishExpats.com.

I'm very new to the site- have lurked for a couple of weeks but let me tell you, I've already learned so much from you all. This site has helped me stay within my budget this Christmas season and it's the first time I can say that!! I am very appreciative!

Froggie, that is great. I spent much less this christmas also. I think this site had a lot to do with it. I found that many of the folks on here are great at curtailing their spending at christmas time and I tried to copy them.

This was my first blog/discussion site...I had no idea how lucky I was to find this site first!!

Our local newspaper has a forum...and boy are those folks nasty to one another. They are always knocking each other and berating someone.

This site is very friendly and everyone shares a desire to help and learn.

I really enjoy the 'culture' here.

Here's one thread where EVERYONE agrees! This site rocks!

I like it that even when someone asks a question that has been already been answered ten times in other threads on this site, other people will still chime in with advice and answers. That is not always the case on other sites, where they will bite your head off if you haven't searched the entire site first.

Jeffrey and Nate - Keep up the good work that keeps us coming back for more!

I am on another local forum. Ray, they bite each other's heads off first. I agree with vsjhoc, people are always nice to the newcomer, no matter how often the question has been asked.
