Post ready for the upcoming school yr next fall???

OMG I almost had a heart attack when I did the math on what it will cost us to send our three oldest to school next fall without getting new clothes nor paying for field trips. My total that I came up with is $235(including tax) I feel broke already and school just ended and won't start back up again time August 1st.

We just bought our homeschool books one child $800 but the alternative is not for us. Do you do private school? Is that price per month?

I have DS next year program, my mother found it in on Ebay for less than the 250 you mentioned, and that is for the entire year of math and phonics, I still have to supliment with science but he is young that is easy, and I love the 'field trips' and science expiraments (library is the main social and history methoed) so I would want to spend the money anyway, but I need the excuse of kids .

You might want to look into alternatives for education, I have always felt that the 'free' PS system in the USA is not very free or cost effective (to parents using it or to the taxpayers money spent)
