Hi everyone.

Hey folks, just joined this site. As someone who's fast approaching 30, I decided that it was probably time that I started looking at my future. Ironically, I spent my time on "consumer" sites where I just looked at the latest "thing" that I wanted -- so, I decided I'd try the opposite and spend some time on a "savings" site in the hope that it would have the opposite effect! Cheers.

Hello all,
I just joined the forum after being a viewer for some time, and I wanted to introduce myself. I am 25 years old out of Louisville, KY. I work in the customer service industry and am also a full time student. I am interested in personal finance and in securing retirement in the future. I look forward to contributing to this forum whenever I can, and maybe I can receive some good advice from you all as well. It seems like there are some very intelligent people on these boards who are more than willing to add insight into many different topics and I look forward to meeting you all!

Hi Everyone...new to the forum. I am 24 years old and I work in NYC as a corporate personal trainer. I love personal finances and business. I had a mound of credit card debt and car loans ($20,000) and was able to get myself out in two years. I still have $6,000 in school loans but have plans to pay it off. I am here to learn from others, especially those with years of experience and knowledge and to give others who where in the same shoes I was in advice.

Im Brad from Ohio. Actually justed joined this forum. Im 29 yrs old. Absolute love personal finance so you will probably be seeing me around here alot posting. I love to save money maybe sometimes I save to much.....if saving to much is bad right.

hey all, i'm dee... 24 years of age, working full time in the music industry. have got an awful spending habit, barely any savings and am pretty broke a week or two after payday. so here i am on this forum to in an attempt to right all my financial wrongs.

Hello!
I am a frugal homemaker, and I enjoy saving money though the use of coupons, rebates, freebies, and free samples. I cook meals, and like to learn to save money by using inexpensive ingredients. I am college-educated, and have recently started my own blog site where I share ideas I have learned about saving money on grocery bills, food, etc.
I don't like to pay full price for anything, as I am sure many of you here in the Forums can relate to! Nice to meet you all; I will be posting on here more now that I have joined! Ciao!

been on here for a few days now, only just seen this post.lol. Im a 45 yr old construction worker from the UK,married to a Godess of a woman  , i like reading, writing and saving money as hobbies, and write ebooks in my spare time.I like to help others by imparting my wisdom to them if they want it. I'm Kenny, and I live in Independence, KY. I'm a UK Wildcat fan, a Reds fan and (grudgingly) a Bengals fan. I'm a freelance writer and IT professional for Hewlett Packard.I basically went through a nightmare time in my early thirties running up 60K in high-interest debt. It took a lot of hard work and diligence to eliminate that debt. I guess you could say I learned the hard way. Subsequently, I wrote a book about my "adventures." I'm here to give whatever help I can, build some credibility and (hopefully) drive some people over to my website. Thanks for listening, and I look forward to interacting with everyone.
