Default I found a good souce for small business owners

I own/operate a small safety business, where I teach cpr, first aid, osha, babysitting 101, child car seat inspections and a lot more. It is wonderful, because as a farmer and homeschooling mom, I can schedule classes around what works for me.

Anyway, I found a great website, World's Largest Professional Network | LinkedIn

It has forums for all different businesses that you can join, and I found one for independent cpr instructors. So far, it has linked me up with numerous other independents in my area, and I have made money by assisting them in their classes, when they needed help, and found a gal who came and helped me with a large class that otherwise I would have had to turn down (AHA guidelines state I can't have more than 12 students to one teacher).

I also was able to tap into the local childcare centers forums and let them know I taught classes and also did daycare center pre-inspections (I do a walk thru before the state fire marshall and daycare inspectors come, ao that they have time to make corrections without a fine or write up)

You may want to check this out and see if it helps you with your networking, it sure did with me, and I got a lot of good ideas, and have shared some of my ideas with them as well.
