Default so proud of hubby

Ventured to Best Buy to look for a new receiver to replace our surround sound. The rep of course takes us to the speciality sound room to show us what we would work for our need. And of course shows us the latest greatest just released today receiver at only $700. The features were amazing but the price steep.

So dh kept looking at it....and finally said. "Got anything cheaper...cuz I don't need the latest greatest for $700" Last years model was $400.

Needless to say we walked out with nothing. We decided to price shop online to find the "best price" Quick look at Amazon and they had last years model at $300

Personally, I think Best Buy is great for shopping around and looking at options... Followed by a trip online to Amazon and elsewhere to find the cheaper price. In general, Best Buy isn't really good about discounting from "Suggested Retail Price".

Delaying a purchase generally yields huge savings! Lets face it, when do you ever need anything immediately? I can only think of emergency medical care that answers that question.

Agreed. It also allows you to research the product so you know what you buy.

Wow! Your husband is pulling out all the stops! That's awesome. I'm very happy for both of you.
