Default Home Printer suggestions.......

Hi,
I'm looking for a wireless printer for home use. I want something small/relatively inexpensive/good quality. I've been researching the Canon Pixma MG8120 Wireless Inket and The Canon Pixma MG6120. The latter is less expensive. I'll be using it for printing various spreadsheets, word docs and the occasional picture. Any suggestions?

I appreciate your input.

Anything that you get at a big box retailer that is a combo unit scan, copy, print will probably be about on par with anything else. Kodak, Canon, Lexmark. They all make a decent printer for home use. Your looking at about $50 to $80 for the printer and about $20 per ink cartridge.

Online shop it as well! Great deals can be had much like everything else online.

Canon makes good printers, but I like our Lexmark wireless printer we have. 120$ investment that has more than paid for itself in the convenience factor.

All Products |Printers & MultiFunction | Lexmark Intuition S505|Lexmark

This is the exact one we have, again we shopped around and got it on sale for 119.99 a little over 3 months ago.

BOL.

Quick google search yielded this:
Newegg.com - LEXMARK Intuition S505 Up to 33 ppm 4800 x 1200 dpi Wireless InkJet MFC / All-In-One Color Printer

Other sites had a lower price, but higher shipping. Plus I have used newegg before so that is where I would go.

Again BOL!

look at the cost of the cartridges, it is a hidden but important cost to consider when buying a printer.
