Any salesmen on the forums anywhere?

I am wondering if you have ever used on a sales training program - not the training by your company. Something like a Brian Tracy program, or Dale Carnegie.

Which one did you use? Thoughts? How much of an impact did it have on your skillset? Which one would you recommend to a new salesperson?

I'd prefer something like a DVD/CD training course, but if a certain book/books very just so stellar that you couldn't have done it without them, let me know.

I think it's a valuable skillset to have, but don't know anything about which programs are good - and which ones only say that they're the best.



Apparently every sales training program is award winning, and the best on the market. Obv that can't be true. So I'd like to hear from real people about what worked/works for them.


**Oh and if your reply is your first post ever and it says that this specific program at some website is the best ever - I won't believe you. So don't bother creating an account just to recommend your own product. You're wasting your time.
