Default Quicken 2010

A major grocery store by me is selling Quicken Premeir 2010 for $6. If I buy it, will it cause me any problems since its 2011? Thanks.

No. Quicken 2010 may be their newest version. Many software programs are a year or two older than the current year and that is fine. $6 is a bargain if you are seriously interested in tracking your income and expenses using a software program

Thank you. They do have a 2011 version, buts its $55. If the 2010 will work and still import my balances, I'll save the $49.

I'm currently using quickbooks 2007, you should have no problems with 2010. I do not move up until the software(payroll software) demands a better windows system and speed. Quicken is a personal software so I would likely use it forever.

As I understand it, Quicken only supports their software for 3 years. That means no updates for older software. Be careful using very old versions for that reason, unless the updates and support are unimportant to you.
