Question cleaning help

I am a compulsive cleaner I probably spend as much on cleaning supplies in a month as most people do in a year although I have cut back alot by using amonia to replace many household cleaning supplies. Just found out my new son is allergic to most cleaning supplies. Iam in a panic seriously because I am trying to find these allergy friendly cleaners that are so expensive anyone have any homemade recipes for cleaning supplies PLEASE PLEASE HELP

Vinegar (usually diluted, but can often be used at full strength if needed) works for a lot of things (hard water related stuff especially).

Hydrogen peroxide works on some things you would use things like "oxyclean" on. (Work really well on blood.)

Alcohol works really well on ink. (Alcohol also disinfects.)

I use a 3M magic cloth and water for almost everything but the bathroom. (Even there I could probably use it for everything but the toilet.)

Has anybody ever tried the steamer things? I'll have to admit the TV commercials get my interest . . . .

I know lots of people have better recipes than me so I'll stop now

Good luck!

Watch the ammonia--it is hard on the lungs, and if you have a cat or dog-it can cause them to have accidents in the house. Urine contains ammonia, and cleaning with it inside can cause them to start feeling the need to "mark their territory". I use a lot of vinegar. It is great on windows to chrome. It is also a natural disinfectant.

Everyone probably already knows this but saying it anyway: never mix ammonia with chlorine; You get a poisonous chlorine gas.
