Default What was the last thing you bought or spent money on?

I needed a "new" used fuel pump for my Honda Ruckus. Cost was about $50.
I love riding that thing and it's getting around 70-80 mpg.
What about you guys? Wants or needs included!

Good question. Will be interesting to read the responses.

I placed an Amazon order last night for a few items. A book for my daughter, screen covers for her iPod, a weekly planner for her for school this year and a new stapler for me. Total order: $36.42.

You posted this same thread twice. I answered in the other one, but I will answer here too. Last night I went to Walmart and spend about $30. That was the last thing that I spent money on. If you are asking about the last major purchase that I made, that would have been last winter. I spent $400 to have a dent fixed on my truck. (Darn icy roads!)

1938 Mosin Nagant Rifle. Too good a deal to pass up, and it's a beautiful piece of WW2 history (even though its a commie gun).
I got it for $50.00 from someone selling off their gun collection.

My last significant purchase was $280 for scuba diving lessons and certification. My BF is taking me to Belize for my birthday, and it would be a travesty to go there without enjoying some of the best scuba opportunities in the world.

Experiences, not stuff!

Last major purchase was $2000 for a car downpayment. They wouldn't let me put more down and still finance it cause they wouldn't make enough off the financing. Probably should have just bought it outright. I love banks

A nice chair for the home computer. It cost $199. Took the wife with me when I got it. She was looking at chairs in the 40 range whereas I went to the higher priced ones. I spend a lot of time on the computer so wanted something comfortable.

I don't think she could believe that I spent that much on a chair

I need a new office chair. I work at home for one day a week, and 8 hours on a kitchen table chair is not comfortable.

I'm not much of a splurger but I work out of home quite a bit. I have a rather luxurious leather office chair. It's great to lean back in during those stressful moments. It was worth the money.

Sandwich and a coffee at lunch for $9.42. If I made my lunch each day I'd save $2,260 a year. Invested for 25 years would total $133,693 assuming a 6% return.

Stop buying lunch and pack it!!

I need one that has adjustable arm supports, good back support, and adjustable height. And rolling. If only I could sneak into the first job I had and roll that one out

I drove to Capital city Thursday [3 hrs. north]. Half way there I realized I'd left my phone charger at home. While in the other city went to two lg. electronic chain stores to buy a charger cord but they only had the $60. version. 1st thing this a.m. I was at the electronic discount store in my city to buy a car charger for my phone, costs $6.

If you can manage it, I'd seek out that good chair. It's one of those things where you ask yourself......Why didn't I do this years ago?

Thanks, Steve. My father is an MD as well. I told him to start doing the surveys, and Quantia seems to offer all Amazon incentives...Do you use that one?
