Happy birthday and hope you have a great trip! Got a synthetic oil change for my girlfriends truck today. Those "EZ" type places always try to upsale me and I know better. When I rolled up, I asked about their advertised $19.99 special and told me since the truck required more oil, he quoted me around $26. When they had already drained my oil they tried to tell me I needed a $99 engine flush which I declined, and then they tried to pull a fast one on me saying I "needed" synthetic oil...which was $60...I was upset about the aggressive upcharging tactics, and told them I was quoted $26, and that I only had $40 cash on me. So I got out of there with a full synthetic oil change $60 value for $40 out the door. Some people.....

I got it for $50.00 from someone selling off their gun collection.
Congrats on your purchase!
I just inherited some guns...Can you please direct me to a reputable site to sell them?

I have an 08' 335i. It is my pride and joy, and gives me more motivation to make and save more money. Other than the Bimmer, my life is relatively simple

We bought an 325i. DW has to have it for 7 years, but it might be a car she will like for a longer time period.

$392.00 for car repairs yesterday. Now they tell me it needs a tie rod end. I'm going to wait and see if I can get the tie rod fixed at the college automotive class shop next month for a fraction of the price.

'Starving' college student here who's had waaaaay too many Murphy visits lately.

Tried out a new restaurant tonight. Just opened this week. It is a Chinese vegetarian place about 10 minutes from home. It was very good and they were having a grand opening special - 15% off the bill and one free drink (non-alcoholic) per person, including soft drinks and slushes. My daughter got a green apple slush and I got a lychee slush. Both were very tasty, as was the meal. That ran us about $28 with tip for the 3 of us. Well worth it. We'll definitely be back there.

Sounds great...Vegetarian meals almost always offer a significant savings over meat based dishes.

One of my favorites to make at home

Red, Green, Orange, and Yellow peppers, white onions, bella mushrooms, with Coconut oil on the stove for about 10 minutes so their still crunchy, mixed with brown rice!

Love it!

We just paid our son's Fall college tuition, $1995.00 which is a bargain considering the cost of sending kids to college nowadays.

Took the ruckus on a 150+ mile ride wit some buds through the mountains to one of the Indian casinos in San Diego. Total cost In gas was about $6. Also spent $11 on a burger fries and a soda. Awesome day and ride. Just like a mini vacay to me!

I bought avocados for guacamole! Yum. In bigger purchases, I bought a new bean-bag for the living room.

My last significant purchase was for $3300.00 for a new Carbon Fiber 2011 Felt road bike.
It makes the 22 km commute to my office a pleasure.
