Default taking on more debt

We are in the process of adopting a second child our first child was six when we adopted her our new son is an infant. We just used our income tax returns to pay of a large portion of the debt from the first adoption. Now we are doing it again this time we do not have as much savings as the first because I quit working when we adopted our daughter. We have six months before our sons adoption becomes final I do not want to go back to work but would like to work from home any suggestions.

First off, I'd like to commend you on your decision to not only adopt one child BUT two! Do you have any skills that you could utilize to do some part time work out of your home? Web design, graphics, things of that nature? Possibly look into opening a small day care facility since you will be caring for your other young ones anyway?

Wow.. two children are a responsibility Congratulations on your new additions I agree with ducati on the opening a day care. Here in NY day cares are in demand especially since people are moving away from the traditional day care facility and into more personal settings.. good luck in whatever vehicle you choose

i started to open a daycare and had friends ask me to watch their kids instead. i make great extra money. you may want to try out watching a few kids to see if it something you are interested in.

I agree, taking on 1 or 2 additional kids first to 'try out' this type of work is a wise idea. Especially since once you get your baby you will be very busy just with your own children.

CONGRATULATIONS!
