Default It is a bit quiet :)

Hopefully everyone is not out spending money.

Hubby was getting I want to spend money fever yesterday. He needed a laptop so he could play a game on the computer that just doesn't play right on on our pc.

He wanted to be able to sit outside and play it... I told him no way.

We have been talking about a laptop for awhile so I can work at my parent's vacation home but there is no need to rush in.

It sounds like you have the spending under control. I'm sure there will be a right time to purchase it when you find a good deal on a laptop.

The laptop is more of a want than a need.

We had another conversation yesterday about it:

Him: I think we really need that laptop. You would be able to spend more time at the beach and be able to work early morning.

Me: We don't have the money

Him: Yes we do its in the bank

Me: Hmmm that is our emergency fund. We still have $4000 in debt that needs to get paid off. Once we get the debt paid off we can look at buying it.

Him: This is an emergency.

Me: No way

Hubby is in sales so he receives commission. Commission has been nice lately so the buy me buy me this buy me that fever. Argh. I just had him up his 401k percentage as well.
